TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated October 07, 2026

TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. AGREEMENT AND WHO WE ARE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SUZANA SAVIĆ PR IZDAVANJE OSTALOG SOFTVERA CONFI EVENTS ĆUPRIJA, a sole proprietorship registered in Serbia, with its seat at Proleterskih Brigada 17, 35230 Ćuprija, Serbia ("Confi," "we," "us," or "our").

The Terms govern your use of everything we operate under the Confi and Vows brands (together, the "Services"), including:

  • the website at https://confi-events.com and any website of ours that links to these Terms;
  • the Confi admin portal, where organizers create and manage events;
  • the Confi Events and Vows mobile applications;
  • white-label (custom branded) applications we build and publish for organizers; and
  • registration forms, tickets, emails and other features we provide for events.

By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Services means you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organization.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • Organizer: a person or organization that creates or manages an event, wedding or similar gathering using the Services, including its team members with admin portal access.
  • Attendee: anyone who uses the Services to take part in an Organizer's event, including guests, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and staff.
  • Event: an event, conference, wedding or other gathering set up in the Services, together with its content and settings.
  • User Content: anything you upload, post or submit through the Services, such as profile details, feed posts, comments, photos, messages, form answers, agenda content and branding.
  • Event Data: personal data about Attendees that is collected or stored for an Organizer's Event, for example the guest list and registrations, form answers, tickets, check-ins, sponsor leads, and speaker and poster author profiles the Organizer adds.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. You may use the Services under 16 only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian, or when an Organizer admits you to its Event, in which case the Organizer is responsible for obtaining any consent required by law.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at admin@confi-events.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. THE SERVICES

Organizers can create an account and set up an Event free of charge to evaluate the Services. Until the fee for an Event has been paid, the Event is restricted: it is invite-only and limited to 5 registered guests. Speakers, poster authors and sponsor representatives you add do not count toward this limit. Once payment is received, we remove these restrictions for that Event.

Attendees use the Services free of charge. Each Event is run by its Organizer, not by us. The Organizer decides who can join, what content is published, and how the Event takes place, and is solely responsible for the Event itself, including any tickets, cancellations or changes to it.

We continually improve the Services and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is material to an Event you have already paid for, we will provide a reasonable alternative or a proportionate refund.

5. FEES AND PAYMENT

Fees are charged per Event and depend on the expected audience size and selected options (such as a white-label app), as shown on our pricing page or in a quote we agree with you. The price confirmed in your quote, invoice or checkout applies.

We accept payment by bank transfer against an invoice, by PayPal, and through our Paddle checkout. Orders placed through our Paddle checkout are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for those orders. Paddle handles customer service inquiries about those payments and processes returns, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to them.

Prices do not include taxes unless stated otherwise. For Paddle orders, Paddle calculates and collects any applicable taxes. For other payment methods, any applicable taxes are shown on the invoice. We may change our prices at any time, but a price change never affects an Event you have already paid for.

6. REFUND POLICY

You may request a full refund of an Event fee within 14 days of payment, for any reason, as long as the Event is not yet live. An Event is live once its scheduled start date has been reached. From that point the service has been fully provided to you and your Attendees, so the 14-day refund right no longer applies.

To request a refund:

Approved refunds are issued within 14 days. When a fee is refunded, the Event returns to its restricted state. Regardless of the above, we will also refund you where a material defect in the Services prevented you from using the features you paid for and we could not fix it within a reasonable time. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

7. WHITE-LABEL APPS

If you purchase a white-label app, we build and publish an app with your branding in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Publication depends on review by Apple and Google, which we do not control, so we cannot guarantee a publication date or that an app will be approved. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues they raise.

You grant us a non-exclusive license to use the names, logos, images and other branding you provide for the purpose of building, publishing and maintaining your app, and you confirm that you have the rights to do so. The app stores' own terms apply to the download and use of the app.

8. ORGANIZER RESPONSIBILITIES AND DATA PROCESSING

As an Organizer, you are responsible for your Event, the content you publish in it, and the way you use Event Data. You must comply with all laws that apply to your Event, including data protection, consumer protection and marketing laws.

For Event Data, you are the data controller and we are your data processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for collecting and using Event Data, for informing your Attendees how their data is used, and for obtaining any consent required, including consent to photography at your Event and to the publication of photos in the gallery. When we process Event Data on your behalf, we:

  • process it only to provide the Services and on your documented instructions, which include these Terms and your use of the Services, unless the law requires otherwise;
  • ensure that anyone authorized to process it is bound by confidentiality;
  • apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures;
  • use sub-processors (such as cloud hosting, email and AI providers, listed in our Privacy Policy) under written terms that offer equivalent protection, and remain responsible for them. We will inform you of any intended addition or replacement of a sub-processor by updating the list in our Privacy Policy and, where we have your email address, by email, and you may object on reasonable data protection grounds. If we cannot address your objection, you may stop using the Services for future Events and we will refund any fee paid for an Event that has not yet taken place;
  • assist you, where reasonably possible, in responding to Attendees exercising their data protection rights and in meeting your security and breach notification obligations;
  • notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting Event Data;
  • keep Event Data until you delete the Event or ask us to delete it, and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it; and
  • make available the information reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance with these obligations, and allow for and contribute to audits, primarily by answering written questionnaires and, where that is not sufficient, by inspections carried out at your cost, with reasonable notice and subject to confidentiality.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data, both as controller (for example account and billing data) and as your processor for Event Data.

9. USER CONTENT

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and distribute your User Content only as needed to operate and provide the Services, for example to show your posts and photos to other participants of the Event. This license ends when your User Content is deleted, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or where the law requires us to keep them.

User Content you post in an Event is visible to that Event's Organizer and, depending on the Event's settings, to its other Attendees. You are responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the rights needed to post it, including the consent of people who appear in your photos.

Organizers can moderate and remove User Content in their Events. We may also remove or restrict any User Content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or the law. To report content that infringes your rights or is unlawful, email admin@confi-events.com with a link to or description of the content.

10. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not:

  • use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in breach of anyone's rights;
  • commit fraud, impersonate anyone, or send spam or unsolicited messages;
  • post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • access, collect or use other users' data without authorization;
  • interfere with or compromise the security or operation of the Services, for example by probing for vulnerabilities, introducing malware, or overloading our systems;
  • scrape, copy or reverse engineer the Services, except where the law expressly permits it; or
  • resell or sublicense the Services without our written agreement.

11. AI FEATURES

Some features use artificial intelligence provided by third parties, currently Google, for example to import speakers and poster authors from a file you upload. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. You are responsible for the inputs you provide and for reviewing AI output before you publish or rely on it.

As between you and us, you own the inputs you provide and, to the extent the law allows, the output generated for you. You must not use AI features to create content that breaches these Terms or the usage policies of our AI providers. We may moderate or restrict the use of AI features to prevent misuse.

12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Services rely on or link to services provided by third parties, such as the Apple App Store and Google Play, Google Maps, payment providers (Paddle and PayPal), and Fotny, which an Organizer may enable to help Attendees find gallery photos they appear in. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

We and our licensors own the Services, including the software, design, trademarks and documentation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services. No other rights are granted.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

We will not use an Organizer's name, logo or Event as a customer reference in our marketing without the Organizer's prior written permission.

14. AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICES

We work hard to keep the Services available and reliable, especially during Events, but we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. The Services may be unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control, such as failures of internet, hosting or app store providers. We recommend keeping essential Event information (such as the agenda and attendee list) available by other means as well.

15. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, or to a specific Event, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly breach these Terms after we have warned you. Where reasonable, we will notify you in advance and give you an opportunity to fix the problem. If we terminate the Services for an Event you have paid for without you having breached these Terms, we will refund the fee for that Event.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including those on fees, data processing, intellectual property, liability, and governing law, continue to apply.

16. DISCLAIMERS

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind beyond those stated in these Terms. We are not responsible for Events themselves, for content published by Organizers or Attendees, or for the conduct of any user of the Services, online or in person.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data; and
  • our total liability arising out of or in connection with an Event is limited to the fees you paid us for that Event. If you have not paid us any fees, our total liability is limited to EUR 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

18. INDEMNITY

If you are an Organizer, you agree to compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your Event, your User Content, your use of Event Data, or your breach of these Terms or the law. This section does not apply to consumers.

19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page and indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top.

An Event you have already paid for remains governed by the version of these Terms in effect when you paid for it. Updated Terms apply to that Organizer from its next purchase.

For all other use of the Services, updated Terms take effect when they are published. If you do not agree to them, you must stop using the Services; your continued use after publication means you accept them.

20. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved by the court with subject-matter jurisdiction at our registered seat in Serbia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Before starting proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

21. GENERAL

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any quote or order you accept, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or sale of our business, provided your rights are not reduced.
